The Weekly Meme Roundup: It's Pride Month, Deltarune Tomorrow, Roll The Windows Up And More
The first week of June has come and gone, and it's left a new crop of memes in its path for us to gawk at.
This week on the internet, a classic Pride Month format popped back up to take over social media, a kid named Pubert became the hero we never knew we needed, an old RDCWorld video gave us a strong new meme format and "Deltarune tomorrow" actually came true.
Here are the five biggest memes of the past week that you need to catch up on.
It's Pride Month, You Know What That Means
It's Pride Month, you know what that means? No? Well, neither do the people in this meme, which is back in style just like it is every June for LGBTQ Pride Month.
The meme first popped up on Tumblr in 2022. The original version, which is Breaking Bad themed, shows Gus Fring approaching Walter White in his lab and telling him, "It's Pride Month, you know what that means." Walter, unfortunately, does not know what that means in the context of cooking his signature brand of blue meth. He asks, "Do you want ust to make like, gay meth?" but Gus, ever mysterious, just walks away with a grin.
In June 2023, the meme blew up in virality as a redraw format in which Walter, Jesse and Gus are replaced with other popular characters and the captions are altered to fit the context of their world.
The joke is essentially the same every time, albeit with a little twist for whatever fandom it's catering to. Now, the meme has been solidified as a yearly Pride Month tradition, as it goes viral yet again in 2025.

Roll the Windows Up
A seven-year-old RDCWorld video became one of the hottest memes on Twitter this week, thanks to the depressingly relevant (at least for Crash Bandicoot fans) "Roll the Windows Up."
In the video, titled Video Game House 3, the RDCWorld crew play popular video game characters and act like they're in a reality show.
In one scene, the gang, consisting of Mario, Master Chief, Minecraft Steve and Luigi, roll up by a stop sign with Crash Bandicoot sitting underneath. Mario frantically tells everyone to "roll the windows up, hurry," explaining that Crash is broke, homeless and is going to beg them for money.
The joke is that Crash Bandicoot's franchise, compared to the franchises of the other characters in the car, is pretty much dead, and nobody wants to associate with it.
This hasn't changed a whole lot in 2025, if you ask many Crash Bandicoot fans. Recently, the scene started getting redrawn and used in memes on Twitter that call out other dead, dying or simply inferior franchises.

Deltarune Tomorrow
Okay, so attentive readers might notice that Deltarune Tomorrow was already featured as a meme of the week in February, but guess what? The meme finally came true, earning it another shoutout.
For those who aren't aware, the long-awaited third and fourth chapters of the beloved video game Deltarune were finally released this week, both on PC and on the equally hyped Nintendo Switch 2.
In the months leading up to its release, a meme went viral among the fandom in which excited and impatient fans would post memes using the phrase "Deltarune tomorrow," as if it might force the game to shadow-drop the next day.
Now, the game is out, and in the days leading up to its release, the Deltarune tomorrow meme came back and actually meant something. The game's creator, Toby Fox, even got in on the meme by posting two very differently formatted versions of "Deltarune tomorrow" on his social media accounts, inspiring their own set of memes.

Kid Named Pubert

The kid named Pubert meme is a creation of the deranged minds over on the Instagram page monkeyposted. The meme, which features a funny image of a monkey captioned "Kid named Pubert" under the top text, "Teacher: alright class, today we are going finger paint," was posted back in 2022 to a couple of thousand likes.
Largely, it flew under the radar as a simple monkey meme hidden among a sea of other monkey memes. That is, until the end of May 2025, when a video of the Pubert meme saving a man's phone went viral.
The post was made by X user @twin_presence and gained over 350,000 likes in just a few days. It reads, "Kid Named Pubert is the only thing that repairs my boyfriends phone screen," and shows someone opening the meme up on their boyfriend's phone, which has a bunch of pink lines running through it. Once the meme is opened, the pink lines disappear like magic.
It's truly bizarre and pretty funny. The reason why it fixes the screen has been described by many commenters since. Apparently, it has something to do with the black borders around the meme and the brightness on the phone.
Personally, we prefer to believe that it's the aura coming off of the Kid Named Pubert meme that fixed the phone. But who can say for sure?

Landon Is Not Allowed
There's been some big drama going on recently surrounding YouTuber Landon Nickerson after his ex-fiancée, Wizard Liz, claimed that he cheated on her while she was pregnant, resulting in the brutal "Landon Is Not Allowed" meme.

As you might have guessed, Landon has not gotten a whole lot of love after the allegations surfaced. In fact, he's gotten so much hate that he's inspired a whole TikTok trend about the places he's no longer allowed.
For example, the private jet company Fly Alliance posted a video of the inside of one of their planes, captioned, "Landon is NOT welcome on our planes." The New York fried chicken restaurant Chick’n Out posted a video barring him from eating their food. Then, Dhar Mann himself banned Landon from appearing in his videos. Before long, Landon was getting barred from just about every business out there.
It's not often that someone becomes a big enough villain online to get banned from businesses, but it's certainly an interesting thing to witness. So thanks, Landon, for the unique experience. It might be the last thing related to your name that goes viral for a while.
